We offer parties with a difference in Bath! Come to our glass blowing studio on Walcot Street to enjoy a shared experience and learn a new skill. Each guest will create their very own bauble or glass decoration to keep, as well as lasting memories of a unique festive celebration. Our packages are perfect before heading in to town for drinks or dinner, and each can be tailored to your exact requirements - just ask! PACKAGE ONE: Breath in a bauble

Each guest works with a glassblower to design and put their breath into their own unique bauble (approx 5 mins per person).
One person on the hot floor at a time while the rest of the group mingle in the bar.
Enjoy private use of our entire premises including cafe/bar area.
A complimentary glass of bubbles will be provided for each guest on arrival.
Each guest will keep their own bespoke glass bauble.
Up to 10 guests - 1.5 hours - £550+VAT | 11-20 guests - 2 hours - £980+VAT.
Add a grazing board for 10 people for £150 or £300 for 20 people

PACKAGE TWO: Breath in a bauble & appliqué decoration

Each guest enjoys two experiences:
- designing and putting their breath into a bauble with one of our glassblowers
- creating a mosaiced tree decoration using appliqué technique - no heat required.
The two activities will run simultaneously - one person on the hot floor at a time while the rest of the group make decorations and mingle in the bar.
Enjoy private use of our entire premises including cafe/bar area.
A complimentary glass of bubbles will be provided for each guest on arrival.
Each guest will keep their own bespoke glass bauble and appliqué decoration.
Up to 10 guests - 2 hours - £850+VAT | 11-20 guests - 3 hours - £1600+VAT.

PACKAGE THREE: Blow your own bauble & appliqué decoration

Each guest enjoys two experiences:
- a one-to-one bauble making experience with one of our glassblowers - hands on to learn the craft and create their own bauble (approx 15 mins per person).
- creating a mosaiced tree decoration using appliqué technique - no heat required.
The two activities will run simultaneously - one person on the hot floor at a time while the rest of the group make decorations and mingle in the bar.
Enjoy private use of our entire premises including cafe/bar area.
A complimentary glass of bubbles will be provided for each guest on arrival.
Each guest will keep their own bespoke glass bauble and appliqué decoration.
Up to 10 guests - 3 hours - £1500+VAT | 11-15 guests - 4 hours - £2250+VAT.

PACKAGE FOUR: Appliqué decoration

Each guest will create their own mosaiced tree decoration using appliqué technique - no heat required.
Everyone can sit together to craft their decoration, chat and enjoy a drink
Enjoy use of a quiet space within our studio and non-private access to the cafe/bar.
A complimentary glass of bubbles will be provided for each guest on arrival.
Each guest will keep their own appliqué decoration.
10 guests - 1.5 hours - £350+VAT | 11-15 guests - 1.5 hours - £480+VAT

Good to know:

Location / premises

Our studio is located at 105-107 Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BW. We have a working hot floor, a cafe/bar and a quiet crafting area.

Food and drink

Each guest will enjoy one glass of prosecco on arrival. Beyond that we will provide a fully staffed paid bar. If you would like to put money behind the bar on your guests' behalf you are welcome to do so. We serve teas, coffee, a range of soft drinks, beer and quality wines from sustainable suppliers Chilled and Tannin.

Timings / guest numbers

Due to constraints on timings and hot floor safety requirements, some of our activities are capped at 15 guests. Our glassblowing facilities can be booked between 2pm-6.30pm. The cafe/bar can be booked until 8pm when the premises must be vacated.

Staffing

We will fulfil all staffing requirements including bar staff and glassblowers.

Baubles/decoration collection

Every guest will create their own bauble and/or hanging decoration to keep. All baubles must go in to the lehr overnight to cool slowly and will be ready to collect by 2pm the following day (except Sunday). Delivery can also be arranged with any costs incurred quoted on a case by case basis.

Health and safety

All guests must understand that our studio is a working environment with furnaces, molten glass and hot equipment. A full health and safety briefing will be given on arrival and we ask that guests respect and adhere to all instructions.

Additional extras

If required we can provide:

Catering with canapé packages starting from £12.50 per head
Grazing experiences can be added at a cost of £240 per metre (feeds approx 10 people)
Live music from the Red Bandits ukulele band
An extended licence - 21 days notice required
Anything you need or would like - just ask and we will do our very best to accommodate your request

All additional extras will be discussed and quoted on a case by case basis.

Corporate gifting

We can create bespoke gifts for your clients or staff including paperweights, tableware, award trophies and gift vouchers for glass blowing experiences. We also have an in house engraving service. Read more here.
