This holiday cottage has a beautiful dry stone wall enclosed garden offering space to relax. The holiday cottage is a short stroll from Corsham High Street where local pubs serve meals with locally sourced produce where there are various quaility independent shops,cafes and a selection of restaurants which also offer takeaway menus. We recomend the Methuen Arms (walking distance) for a great meal. This historic town offers easy access for  fabulous country walks, cycle touring and Harry Potter fans to  visit  Lacock, where both Harry Potter and many tv period dramas were filmed.

Local Attractions include, Stone Henge, Castle Combe,Longleat ,Avebury, Bath Theama Spa, Bath Aqua Glass (free entry for all guests),Roman Baths, Royal Crescent

Corsham was historically a centre for agriculture and later the wool industry, and remains a focus for quarrying Bath Stone. It contains several notable historic buildings, such as the stately home of Corsham Court. In World War II and the Cold War, it became a major administrative and manufacturing centre for the Ministry of Defence, with numerous establishments both above ground and in the old quarry tunnels. The early 21st century saw some growth in Corsham's role in the film industry. The perfect place for a cultural holiday

We stayed at this beautiful holiday cottage it was really lovely loads of character. Very central for visits to Bath, Lacock, Stone henge, Bradford upon Avon. A great holiday cottage.

I rented this cottage for my family I wanted to be near Bath but was suprised what else was around. We visited Lacock it was so quaint and my children loved seeing the Hall of Harry Potter. Corsham court is amazing and so were the walks around it. The food in The Flemish Weaver cooked by the lovley land lady Dawn was fabulous, we walked up most evenings when we did not cook. I loved the cottage there are not many left like this. My kids loved the glass blowing factory.

Poppey cottage I want to buy it it was so lovely, owners do not want to sell. What a great holiday hire near Bath.

Stayed here with my parents really lovely, Corsham has some lovely stone buidlings. It is one of the better holiday cottages I have stayed in near Bath as we have stayed in a few. Will be sure to come next year.

Had stayed with Annette and Adrian at A&As, but wanted to stay longer Annette suggested Poppey Cottage, It was the perfect place for a holiday in this area we drove to Stone Henge, Bath is very close, Lacock is divine and Corsham is beautiful. The walks are lovely. If you want an English stay Corsham is the perfect holiday.
